If you want to attach a new button to your clothing, you can use this method to do so! Always handy in a pinch.

Search for a button that fits well with the clothing and that’s able to fit through the buttonhole (not too loose).

Use a double thread and start by stitching six times over the same spot. Make sure this spot is the same height as the button hole.

Keep your finger behind the button to give you some extra space. Then, sew the button stuck with a nice pattern.

Put the needle between the button and the fabric and wrap around the threads behind the button.

Finish by stitching over the same spot multiple times.
