Description
How wonderful this gown is! The color is warm white, champagne cream. The sleeves are so beautiful with the delicate laces and tulle. The silk and tulle lace dress has a train at the back with a round ornament. All made of pure silk. This skirt and bodice part (one dress) is in very good condition. The silk is crisp, and fresh, with no shredding.
The top is fully lined with pure silk, but the underarms have tears in the lining. There are bones in it too. At the front is a light faded stain that’s only visible when you come close by.
The skirt has 3 layers. First a crispy silk skirt (very good condition) with a ruffled edge. Then a layer of silk chiffon. This layer is unfortunately very damaged and almost gone. The upper layers are wonderful tulle lace ones, with inset lace and dotted lace. The lowest layer is made of champagne colored silk with a ruffled edge. It is possible to keep the waist part unclosed, because there is a large silk ribbon ornament at the back to hide the opening.
