Description
Very old piccolo, in D , completely refurbished by a flute restorer in the Netherlands.
This piccolo looks like the perfected model from R.S. Pratten”s . This  flutist invented new flute models and had them made by Boosey & Co in U.K.
The perfected model of the piccolo is dated from the 1920s.
This piccolo has an ivory head piece. As you see there once was a crack in it but it has been fixed.
The sound of this piccolo is warm.
The ebony wooden corpus has nickel keys and all pads have been replaced by new ones.
I think the cap of the headpiece is silver-plated. Â The piccolo is ready to play!
